It’s Friday, and next week is a big one, folks! I’ve got one more illustration project to finish up for the year, it’s the last week in the Warrenton studio, Chris turns 30, and we will be packing and wrapping presents until our fingers bleed. . We’ve been watching the Great British Baking Show recently, and it’s making me even more excited for our new kitchen where we will have room to make ALL of the things (and probably burn them, lets be honest). . We’re still not completely packed, and there is so much to accomplish before Christmas and our move, but I’m counting down the days! Now back to illustrating, packing, wrapping, and generally just losing my mind. 🤤
I’ve been hard at work packing up the studio, finishing up illustrations for the year, and, of course, drinking plenty of oat milk lattes out of this bad boy. Who else is having a crazy December? 🙋🏻‍♀️ . Not only do we have the holidays and our move, but it’s also Chris’ 30th birthday next week! It’s going to be a wild couple of weeks 🤪

These mugs are definitely one of my fave designs. I use it to store my brushes. Obviously, I need another...since this one is overflowing a bit 😂 and yes, they’re for sale on my website in case you’re looking for the perfect gift for your creative friend! . Nearly ALL of my brushes are @princetonbrush - because they’re the best! I use the Heritage line for the perfect amount of snap, and the Neptune line for softer washes and blends. . Tip: Let you brushes dry flat before storing them, to preserve the integrity of the brush and handle. NEVER let them sit in a cup of water! Unless you want your brush to lose it’s shape, in which case, you do you, boo boo 🤷🏻‍♀️
I always love the special details clients ask me to include in their bespoke home paintings, but doggos are my FAVORITE. Not that I’m biased or anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ . I’ve had a lot of you asking me about still ordering these for Christmas delivery, and while that’s not possible, I do offer gift certificates for them!
